This Week At Hope
- WELCOME TO ALL who have come to worship the Lord today. Special bulletins and busy bags for children are available in the narthex or from the ushers.
- Today we lift in prayer Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church & Pr. Theresa Langdon as well as St. Phillips Lutheran Church & Prs. Patrick Downes & JoAnna Patterson.
- Flower sponsorship is by the Forshey’s in celebration of Vicki’s and Tara’s birthdays.
- Bulletin sponsorship is by JoAnn Quinn in honor of those serving in the Armed Services.
News and Upcoming Events
- Prayers of the Church - Record and update your prayer requests in the book on the table in the Narthex. A prayer summary is included in the bulletin to use during home prayer time.
- Food Pantry is looking for volunteers Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to noon. Please call the church office if you are interested.
- Heart Check Sunday will be held on Sunday, February 19 immediately following both worship services. Nurses in our congregation will be checking blood pressure and distributing “healthy heart” literature. Take advantage of this free service!
- Ash Wednesday Service will be held on February 22 at 7:30 PM. There will be worship with ashes and communion.
- Youth Lock-In will be held on Friday, February 24.
- Installation of Council Members will be held on Sunday, February 26 during both services.
- Lenten Soup and Bread Evenings will begin on Wednesday, February 29 at 6:00 PM followed by worship at 7:00 PM. Choir rehearsal will be held immediately following worship.
- Copies of Our Daily Bread for March, April & Mary are located on the table in the Narthex. Please pick up your copy today!
- Spring issues Spark Family are located on the table in the Narthex. This is a great devotional for use with your family!
