About Hope's Youth Ministry
Hope's active and diverse youth group is indeed citizens with the People of Hope at every level. From youth-led service programs such as the spring beautification project to the fall youth dinner and coat drive, Hope is served by young apostles and prophets. They are the foundation of God's house, with Christ as their Cornerstone.
In July, Hope will be sending a group of 9th through 12th graders to the ELCA Youth Gathering to participate in the expansion of this foundation. The fellowship and service that comes from such a trip will touch them and the other 39,000 attendees for the rest of their lives. It is an exciting and faith-affirming expedition.
During the year, Hope's youth hold weekly youth study during Sunday School, meet monthly to plan activities and provide fellowship for each other, actively use social media to communicate and share their daily lives, and pray vigorously for the needs of each other, Hope Church, and the world. They are indeed members of the house of God. Please come visit. We hope you'll stay!
